His Dark Materials - The golden Compass

1. Goal: Lyra is the main character and she is trying to get the alethiometer to Lord Asrial(her father)and find her friend and rescue her friend from the gobblers which are stealing children.

2. Experience: In this world everyone has a daemon. They are linked together and if one dies they both die. There is a lab in the north pole and captures kids and separate their daemons with special technology. She got captured by them and found out that her friend was captured too.

3. Fighting: Lyra and her friend caused chaos by making a fire bell ring and because of that, everyone ran outside and Lyra threw a snowball at all the kids and everyone started throwing snowballs at each other. Then their friends who were made on the way arrived on a hot air balloon and made a big fight and Lyra and her friend went on the hot air balloon and made their escape.

4. Result: They finally were on their way to getting the alethiometer to her father and they rescued all the kids including themselves.

5. Accident: They got ambushed by cliff ghasts and crashed and all of them got split up. Then Lyra got captured by Ice-bears (polar bears) and got put into Jail.

6. Things suddenly turned around: The good polar bear which was a friend fights the bad polar bear king and kills the bad polar bear king and now the good polar bear regains the throne since he was supposed to be the king and he sends some polar bears to get Lyra and her friend to go to Lyra’s father.

7. Ending: Lyra found her dad and gave him the alethiometer but her dad didn’t need it anymore. She also found her friend and helped regain the throne for the good Ice-bear. Plus she destroyed the evil lab and freed all the kids that were captured inside. She made some friends as well.
